The life and times of our family... living, playing and growing in the shade of a mountain, along a river and at the foot of a glacier. NOTE: You should be able to click on each picture and have it show up bigger on your computer.
These pictures are of a young moose on our drive into Palmer. The moose are really hungry this year due to all the heavy snowfall and they will happily eat any tree in your yard that provides nourishment! They will even eat the bark off the birch trees.

Wow! I cannot wait to be able to take some of these pictures myself!
Amazing animals, aren't they? We miss them.
Oh my goodness! That is some amazing pictures! We had elk that came by to visit (all the time) at our old house. It was very dramatic at first - all the neighbors laughed at us for being so impressed. Ha! I guess we were just city folk, what can I say.
Great pictures! My kids would be so excited if a moose showed up in our driveway . . . I don't think it will happen down here in the south . .. the best we get is a coyote - panter or sometimes a black bear or red fox
Dody, I have to say that these are very strange wedding photos! {g}
Dorothy
My boys would LOVE AK, I'm sure!
